This is the ONLY thing that worked for me. I tried editing the cfg file, I checked the cache integrity, I used Windows XP compatability mode and I tried the unofficial patch. Nothing worked until I uninstalled the glide wrapper. So currently I have it running in Windows XP SP2 compatability mode with glide uninstalled. I'm still on 1.32, not the unofficial 1.42 patch.
